Ice Global Logistics will aim to please when it comes to assisting you with your motorcycle whether you like Honda, Kawasaki or Harley.
This is how we do it:
- For pick ups other than New York: We pick up the motorcycle from shipper when available & deliver to a local packing facility.
- At the packing facility, the vehicle is strapped onto a skid or is fully crated depending on customer's preference. Motorcycles must be crated or strapped onto skids before export whether they will move via air or ocean. We do the packing before the motorcycle is transported to the port of export. It is unsafe to ship motorcycles loose & most trucking companies also will refuse such freight. After the motorcycle is packed appropriately, it is then trucked to our warehouse in New York.
- Upon arrival at our warehouse, our in house RA specialist drains all fluids & unhooks the battery (if applicable). We then prepare the dangerous good documentation & airway bills.
- We submit dangerous good documents, airway bills, bill of sale or invoice, title to customs for review & clearance.
- With the approval of customs, we move forward with the export of the motorcycle.
